What we collect

As a service provider we may collect the following information:

  • Name and job title
  • Contact information including email address
  • Demographic information such as work address, postcode, preferences and interests.

For the purposes of undertaking qualifications with us and via our awarding body we may also be required to collect:

  • Your date of birth and age.
  • Your self identified gender.
  • Your self identified ethnic group.

If you have been a delegate on a course then we are required to keep this information for a period of 6 years from the date it was collected so that, if required, we can confirm that you have received the training. If you have booked a training event or enquired about a service that we offer then we will keep that information for a maximum of 4 years. After the appropriate period the material will be destroyed.

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • Internal record keeping.
  • We may use the information to improve our products and services.
  • We may periodically send promotional emails about products, services, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the contact details which you have provided.
  • From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, email or mail. We may also use the information to customise the website according to your interests.
