Hostage Negotiation Training
Two-Day Intensive Course — Face-to-Face Delivery
Introduction to Our Hostage Negotiation Training
Our two-day Hostage Negotiation Training Course provides a structured and immersive introduction to the principles, psychology, and practice of hostage negotiation.
Drawing on internationally recognised models, real-world experience, and scenario-based learning, it prepares personnel to communicate effectively during high-pressure incidents, preserve life, and support safe resolutions.
Designed for organisations responsible for crisis response, security operations, and high-risk decision-making, this programme blends theory, practical communication exercises, and realistic simulations to build confidence and competence under pressure.
Course Overview
Delegates are introduced to the mindset, behavioural science, team dynamics, and tactical frameworks underpinning successful hostage negotiation.
They learn to communicate with distressed, irrational, or dangerous individuals, manage demands and deadlines, support command teams with accurate intelligence, and operate effectively within a structured negotiation cell.
The course concludes with live practical simulations in realistic hostage scenarios, providing delegates with hands-on experience and feedback to reinforce learning.
